Welcome to our EDCI 338 Final Project, where our group has created a walkthrough of PLN themes, platforms, and practices that we have explored during the Fall 2022 Semester of EDCI 338 at the University of Victoria.
To the right is our group logo (created by KS using Microsoft Word) with initials representing our group members: Kirsten Suesser, Sarah Hiscox, Kathy Luu, Nataly Romero, & Kiera Ropchan.
The theme for our webpage is flowers. In personal learning networks (PLNs) each individual is like a flower requiring supports to be able to root, survive, thrive, grow, and flower. Each flower is unique by design, shape, and colour – representing different perspectives, yet come together in a field or bouquet to represent a whole, similar, and like-minded group. This inspiration came to Kirsten and resulted in the creation of our group logo, a flower consisting of multi-coloured petals to represent each of our 5 members – a unit in itself, but each bringing our own perspectives, thoughts, knowledge, and talent to create a new “stem” of our individual PLNs, or in the case of flowers, a beautiful scene.
